On the 20th of last month, I woke up on a Thursday morning in Bethany. Two loads still had to be flown and I didn’t think it would be that day. I had gotten up early and washed clothes in the creek. I hung them up on the line so that they would be dry before Sabbath. After that I went to the radio to talk with Allen in Paruima. I was told I might have an early load that day. There were even rumors that I MIGHT have 2 flights that day. I decided that if there were 2 flights, I would be on the second one even if I had to leave things behind. What a surprise when I went to bed in Paruima that night! Being with Allen for the last month has been great. We love Paruima and are settling down into being there.
Our apartment still has no sinks that are working, no place inside to bath, BUT it DOES has a flush toilet which makes up most of the difference. We will continue working on making our own little home. I am excited, because we are going to have a bath tub for the first time in almost 10 years!
For those of you who do not know, Paruima at this time doesn’t have Internet, so keeping in touch will be harder. I know God already has that taken care of, so we don’t have to worry.

We will be returning on June 27th. We planned to go to Western Washington mid-July and to the East Coast the first or second week of August. If you would like us to come visit you, please contact us so that we can made better plans. We want to see as many of you as we can.
The picture is the Kamarong river that goes right by the school. It was taken the Thursday I arrived to stay in Paruima.
God bless,
Sara and Allen Griffin
