It has been “many moons” since I last wrote to you and I just wanted to send you a quick update to let you know a few exciting things.
GFN Radio
First, GFN is continuing to function and GROW! We have two families in Grenada right now keeping the radio station on the air and we are expecting a third family soon. We have now been on the air for over seven years of 24/7 broadcasting. It is amazing what God has done! And amazing the impact it has had. Attached is a newsletter from one of the families stationed in Grenada. It is a wonderful testimony of how God is working and I encourage you to take just a few minutes to read it.
GFN TV
Second, in July, Sarah (my daughter) and I along with Rod Bell who volunteered to help us, spent a little over a week installing antennas for the TV station! Sarah took great pictures and Rod, who is trained in repelling, was absolutely essential when it came time to bolt those antennas to the tower. I even got to do some repelling myself! While there, we had trouble with our TV transmitter and God has provided for a new one. It is being shipped to our GMI ministry in TN as we speak. Work is progressing daily on getting the last pieces of equipment installed and all the programming edited and ready to go. Pushing that button to begin broadcasting will be another dream come true. We are getting closer and closer to going on air on channel 4 in southern Grenada. Stayed tuned!
Mission Trip to Africa
Since we have been back from Grenada, Sarah has had the opportunity to attend Upper Columbia Academy and she is now in her Junior year. This year, Sarah was selected to go on a Mission trip to Africa! The trip is scheduled for this coming Spring. Please keep Sarah and all the students who are going on this trip in your prayers!
