“We give out food on the premises of the church in Székesfehérvár every day to the families who now have formed a one true bigger family. They pay attention to each other, pass messages to each other, deliver food to others, visit those who fall ill in the hospital. God formed a good community with these people in the last two and a half months. We also receive clothes and shoes on regular bases with which we help the needy families. One of the families approached us and told that one of the girls hears a voice that tells her to commit suicide. This opened an opportunity to talk about Jesus Christ and His freeing power. We talk about God to all of them since they not only receive physical food but spiritual as well.”
We also continue the program in Kisbér. 40 km from Székesfehérvár God formed another faith driven community which started with food, clothes, shoes, furniture offerings. Physical help and offerings open the doors to people’s homes but talks and prayers open people’s hearts. They trust us, accepted our friendship and can’t wait ffor us to come again.
Sabbath afternoon the weather changed for worst while we were visiting the families at their homes. We were concerned that the weather would prevent us from visiting everyone. While feeling that the weather is getting worse we started praying with one of the families and asked God to form a hole in the clouds above our heads so we would not have the rain. Driving away to other families we realized that there is rain all around us but not above. Leaving the car we looked up and saw the hole in the clouds right above our heads just like we asked our Lord. The sky above us was blue and clear.
God gave us an opportunity to finish our visits even when it was raining. The same evening, we also managed to collect food for the following day.
Sunday as usual we continued our collaboration with Heti Betevő organization. More than 150 poor, elderly, ill, helpless people come to the park to receive a plate of warm food, fruits and kind smile.
Again ‘Bike Maffia’ organization joined us. While we gave away food in the park they take some to others by byke.
Prayer request: We are surrounded with problems that try to prevent our work on weekly bases. Please pray that we will be strong and continue in our labour. Pray that we will be strong facing demons and trusting Christ’s freeing strength. Pray that these families we are helping could form a very strong Christian church.
Support request: We need our own storage space since we now receive not only food donations but clothes, shoes, cleaning materials etc… Rental costs money but at present we haven’t received any kind of financial support. We find it difficult to find means to pay our accountant. We also have a need of a car. We had a case where a promised transport did not arrive and we couldn’t deliver food to people. We are planning to do collections at big shops and we need a car to transport tables, chairs, billboards etc… Collected offerings need transport to be taken away. We also need money to print our leaflets so people get to know us better but unfortunately up till now we didn’t receive any support.
