When we got to the bus station, it was just in time to start boarding. Just then the bus driver, the loader and the ticket collector told us we have too many bags. The rule is two bags per person but we had six in all. We tried our best to find ways around the system to travel with all our bags but nothing worked. Finally they said we will have to wait for the next bus and work it out with the agency. The penalties were such that we would have to pay another bus fare because the ticket was non-refundable plus pay $35.00 per extra baggage. I felt sick to the stomach as the bus rolled out and left us standing there. After the bus left I believe the Holy Spirit touched the hearts of the loader and the ticket collector. They were both sorry the way things happened especially knowing we had to travel so far. Finally they called the agency themselves and informed them what happened and praise the Lord they were able to get us on the mid night bus without extra charges for travel and baggage.

Having mixed feelings about the two helpers who caused us to lose our bus and then graciously helped us to get on the mid night bus for free, I felt impressed to give them the last two Great Controversy books I had. Unfortunately I had one English book the other was Spanish. Eduardo told me he thought he heard one of them responded to him in Spanish. I took the two books and walked across to them. I had to ask the Lord to take away the bad feelings I had. I first offered the Great Controversy to the young lady and asked her if she saw the movie The End of the World 2012. I can tell you, she know all the details about the movie. Then I told her the book I just gave to her tells the truth about the beginning and end of the world (Great Controversy). I spent almost half an hour with her, explaining what the book was all about. She was amazed to hear these things and realized that Hollywood is deceiving the world through entertainment.

Then her friend, the baggage loader, came across to find out what book I was giving to her. Apparently he was eavesdropping and wanted to know more. I told him I would like to give him this book but it is written in Spanish. He told me his mother is Trinidadian and she spoke Spanish to him as kid. I told him I was Trinidadian also and praise the Lord that opened up the way for me to witness to him for another Half an hour. He opened up and told me his life story about his family and what a mess it was. In closing, I told the young man that God had used him to cause me to lose my bus and sleep only because God has a plan for his life. He promised to read the book and allow God to work in his life.
