Steve decided to take his driving test in Bolivia. The process is not hard but it involves classes and test in a very difficult time. Classes are from 7pm to 10pm for 3 days followed by written test at 6 am the next day and driving test the following morning. Plus consider the 1 ½ hours spent on busses to get there and the same to get back home.
Well this was taking a lot of energy out of Steve, but as he arrived one day a little earlier than usual, he saw the lady placing the chairs for the class, so he offered to help.
When the driving test was done, and he was stopped in the middle of it with the angry voice of failed, because definitely he made a mistake where he did not understood the requirements. Anyway as he was heading back to the office to pick up his papers, he met the same lady who he helped a couple days ago. As she saw him sad, she asked if he failed and he said yes. This means he had to go through the same process again with the classes and test and driving again. So she said to him, do not be said, I am going to say here that you passed. This is OK in this corrupt society. So he left the place with a passed driving test, well he had to redo the classes and the motorbike driving test, but the kindness of this lady was valuable for him not to take the driving test again. When you think it just started out with helping her with some chairs. Kindness repays.
