This week we collected and gave away 236,650 Forintz worth of food. During the week on average we look after 18 families. 3 bakeries provide the food.

We managed to find an occasional job for one of the families and gave legal advice to another one whose money is managed by someone else for legal reasons and thus the family is suffering for the lack of means.

We also received and gave away clothes and shoes. We had a good amount of kids clothes which is important since we have many families with children.

On Sabbath we went to Kisbér to visit families who live in a horrible circumstances. They all received food and ‘Steps to Christ’ book. We had time to speak to every one of them and prayed together.
For the next time we promised not to come empty handed either but they told us that all they really want from us is a visit, a good talk about God, prayer and connection. One of them wants to come to church on Sabbath and others suggested to rent a place so we could all come together and talk about Bible.
Sunday was not an easy day and something incredible happened. As usual we were giving away food to 130-150 people with another charity organisation. They provide warm food and we bring bakery.

One of the members of the team felt dizzy, fainted and collapsed. His heart stopped. We tried to pump his heart for about 10 minutes while waiting for ambulance. On arrival they tried to resuscitate him for another 15-20 minutes while volunteers continued giving out food with tears in their eyes. When they put the blanket over the lifeless body and pronounced him dead one of the team members shouted out to the crowd asking them to pray and to beg God to bring him back to life.

150 people prayed, all prayed. Some aloud, some in their minds. We could see their lips move in prayer. That moment God heard their prayers and the dead mad came to life. I could never believe that it is possible to involve unbelievers into praying. Those who only came for food. God listens not only to believers but to so called ‘unbelievers’ too. God is with us.

Satan is attacking out team in unbelievable ways. Believe it or not one of the evenings we saw a demon on our premises while offloading the bakery. Please pray for us to stay in this work and to be strong in our faith.
