Somehow in the campus of RedAdvenir Bolivia is time to give birth. Starting in October, we had a series of four births finishing next month with the fifth one. We were glad that we have babies, they are so fresh and lovable. Only women understand how fulfilling is to hold babies in your arms. When I was really sad my friend who had her in October would give me to hold her little bundle and all worries would fade away. I think women fall fast in love with babies…and I am not excused. I knew that when I worked in the nursery. I would of adopted any baby or just run out with them…

               God has an interesting way of fulfilling our prayers. I prayed long ago that God would give me another child, but I my-self tight up His hands. But he is not without solution.

Being in the middle

             The best happened with this fresh one James Lloyd born on the 11 of May.  Helen asked me if I would like to help her give birth at home. Although a big challenge for me, I decided to take up the challenge and got as much as I could by reading and talking to midwifes. Helen is brave to trust a nurse never trained in the area, to give birth to her baby. O ya, we talk about well educated lady. I mean Helen. There are ladies in the communities that would have their children as another thing that happened that day, not thinking over twice what they need to do. But here I deal with a lady who is studying to become a midwife and wants her training on herself.

              All in all the delivery went hard by the fact that the baby decided night is the best time. Contractions started at 9pm and delivery at 5:40 am. A perfectly healthy baby was born as a morning birthday gift to his own father.

             As much as my nursing mind wants to give details I still have to stop to only couple lines about it because I know there will be people who do not want to know all the details.

             BY now I thank the Lord for all that offered me in this delivery and I want to thank Helen for trusting me and all her family for the support I received from them. For me it is one of the greatest blessings along with the delivery of my own babies.
