A Story Of How God Used You

This is a special letter to say thank you so much for your gifts to this ministry! Since we started fasting and praying with our teams three days each month (for the past few months), we’ve […]

Putting My Feet in the Water

Nearly twelve years ago when I embarked on my dream of becoming a missionary pilot, it never occurred to me that someday the Lord might lead me to fly an aircraft on and off of the water.  In my humble (but narrow minded) opinion, water-based airplanes were plum dangerous and I had zero interest whatsoever of ever piloting […]

Thanks to the efforts of many, we went to Puerto Ustarez!

Sadly, Miguel could not go to the mission trip. A week before the construction of houses began and Miguel had to stay and help; the construction group has to build three houses in three months. So Wes and Ben were guys that could come. The rest had stay and build. I felt Miguel’s absence but I was very grateful […]

Flying, Flying!

Sunrise preflight inspection, a frequent occurrence when there is a busy flight  schedule.

For the last three weeks of June and the first week of July I was busy flying while Herman took a break while their daughter was born. We flew about 60 hours in about four weeks. The 60 hours includes the flights that we told about in the “Medevacs and Missionaries” post. The following […]

Familia Feliz, Bolivia from Miguel Tello

To say that it has been a stressful few weeks is a major understatement! We’ve had two medical evacuations for kids (6 surgeries for Denilson), one more planned for Monday, received 5 new kids from Social Services, started second semester at school being 5 teachers short (which meant teaching 11 classes in 6 class periods), […]

Two new missionaries from Denmark

This morning 2 new volunteers from Denmark arrived!!  Great!  So with them teaching English, I’ll be Bakery full-time!
Last Thursday and Friday fired up the brick oven, and it works!  A master that knows these ovens helped us!  it was lots of work!
Full steam ahead! 🙂
Thank you again for your support and prayers,
Baker Steve, Colegio San […]

Reaching out with a magazine

We would also like to reach out to people by giving out books on the
streets. We are planning a colourful A4 size, 12-page magazine, hoping
to print 10 000 copies per month in which we’d like to cover subjects
like: health advice, kids’ education, spiritual encouragement, Bible
explanations and others.

So far we’ve experienced a miracle a day. People […]

It was that time of year again. Then annual inspection of the turbo charged Cessna 182 was due at the end of June. After finishing the work painting the Mooney we started working on the inspection of the turbocharged Cessna 182. The T182 was what I was working on over the end of June and […]
