Living Expenses: $200 USD (or 150 EU) per month

Airfare (round trip): $2,000 USD

Airport: H'Djamena, Chad, Africa

Immunizations: Yellow fever is required, Hepatitis and Meningitis are recommended

Insurances: GMI is not working with any particular insurance but if this is what you want to have than you may search out for medical insurances that are covering Chad. We recommend you that if you are having a chronic condition that require frequent medical check-ups to consider the country conditions before you decide on coming. Also there is an Adventist hospital that is close by where we can be helped for any emergencies.

Living Conditions: GMI will provide housing for volunteers, but it may mean that you will have to build or finish your house. This is a desert area with dusty winds. Travel is done by motor bike. Church is held under a mango tree, and there is a big need to build a church.

Please understand that Gospel Ministries International is based on volunteer work, and there is no financial payment for your travel or living expenses. We encourage you to have financial support before you go to the mission field.
